The Most Interesting Woman in the World
I have been wondering what my next blog was going to be about, I have been really been hitting a blogger-writing-block but than...Friday...I looked up...and I found my muse....Brenda.
Now, according to my math, and the legends that have been told, Brenda has been working for WFSB longer than I have been alive...which is at least 23 years.
There is a pretty solid chance that Brenda has done it all. She makes the pretty obvious on a day-to-day basis when she has a story for any topic that comes up in the newsroom.
For example, but not limited too, seaweed growth in the Great Barrier Reef, the tectonic plate shifts, UK Top 40 charts...and even Robin Thicke....yes I am talking about that smooth voice with a slight hint of womenizing...
Now, I am young person, I should be up on what hot on the radio...but I am really not apperently...that was made clear by Brenda who informed me that her favorite song was "Blurred Lines"...after a quick YouTube search...I have learned that Brenda may have been the victim of a "Freaky Friday" type switch with her daughter because I am not sure my mother would even listen to this song.
On numerous occasions, Brenda has sent me the top tracks listened on Spotify and new music by Mac Miller.
I find this all shocking because Brenda doesn't even have a Facebook... although rumors have been spread that she logs into her husbands account.
I talked about Brenda before in a blog....which was about me going to the bathroom and being pee shy. Fun fact: that is my second most viewed blog post...I believe Brenda has something to do with that.
Either way, Brenda brings something to this newsroom that no one can quite explain. It might be her motherly nature when she will give me some aspirin when I've hit the bottle a little too hard the night before.
Brenda is a presence in the newsroom that can never be missed...but that may be in part to her extremely loud phone conversations she has throughout the day with family members so most of the newsroom knows what going on after Brenda clocks out.
So I think it is only right to call Brenda..."The Most Interesting Woman in the World"
